Everyday Extensions began with a simple response to a neighborhood forum. A lovely couple with new health issues that were slowing them down reached out for help. They were determined to keep their beautiful home running as it had, and I answered the call.

What began as a sense of service also became a feeling of gratitude as I realized how much I was learning myself. To this day, I am still gaining new recipes, garden tips, and even woodworking and plumbing skills. I am witnessing the wisdom these lives have gathered and feel that I am the lucky one to be invited in. Even the simple, everyday activities are special, and I’ve enjoyed expanding to work with other local families, getting to know the unique differences within the lives and homes of our neighborhoods and communities. It is an honor to help extend everyday, in every way.
